Nasty Bus Driver BULLY my mum & son in a bus...so I make sure he get it from me..i wrote to SBS to COMPLAIN him as well as write in to New Paper to publicize his actions!!
It wasn't an official rule, but an unwritten one that came out of an assumption. Not too long ago, there weren't such a thing as handicap facilities on buses i.e. you really need to walk up and down the steps. So it's impossible to wheel a baby stroller up. Moreover, the bus aisle will never be wide enough for a stroller yet allow people to walk.
People who needed to stroll their babies always take cab or MRT for obvious reasons.
Then came the handicap facilities, so maybe that's when you think there's space and there's the ram to wheel the stroller. But the handicap facility is for handicap, not for stroller. If strollers are allowed, then next time people will wheel in their goods trolley or marketing trolley and stuff liao. Handicap means for handicap only. Just like handicap parking lots, it's for handicaps only, no exception, not even for elderly.
James: ya i know...jz that the driver is very rude to my mum..if cant allow stroller, jz politely tell her not to board the bus...and there should be public notic on such ruling such no eating/ driving. no smoking..to educate the public..if not how an old lady know is illegal???
he has the right to stop her going up the bus. but does he has the right to scold and use hokkien to yell at/threaten the passenger from the time she board the bus till she alight? somemore my mum din scold him coz my ethan is soundly asleep, so she 'ren'..this driver behaviour is simply overboard in his actions..
i already write in to SBS to complain him as well...piss me off to the max...

my mum & baby kenna bully in the bus by this irritating driver...make me v angry ah...so i wun make his life too easy oso.. ;p
but still.. quite something.. at least you've gotten an article on the papers.. haha..
